Flights to Barcelona are not included in the trip's price, giving you complete freedom to choose your preferred departure airport, time, and airline.
Once you arrive, our friendly group coordinator will be eagerly waiting to greet you and check you into the hotel. After settling in and freshening up, we'll embark on an exciting adventure to explore the beautiful city of Barcelona.
We'll finally head to a carefully chosen restaurant to enjoy a delectable welcome dinner. As we dine, we'll get to know each other and share our excitement for the journey ahead.
We will depart Barcelona early for a full day trip to the D.O. Penedes wine region.
The day starts with a visit to Agusti Torello i Mata, a winery known for its high-quality premium cava. We will have a tasting of a few wines, rose cava, dry and off-dry cava, and a pairing with raspberry yogurt sorbet.
We will have lunch at Mirador de les Caves, where you can enjoy the heartiest and most filling Catalan lunch with incredible views.
Then, we will head to Albet i Noya, the pioneer in organic wine-making in Spain. Their farmhouse is set among the vineyards, which is a great place to sit down and taste some wines after the tour.
In the evening, we will head to Vilafranca del Penedes for a medieval or modernist tour and a delicious local dinner.
We will start the day in Vilafranca, where you will learn about the history of wine and cava at the Vinseum. The museum is modern and interactive, making it a worthwhile visit for anyone interested in the wine-making process.
Afterwards, we will head towell-known Torres Winery in Pacs del Penedes, a tiny village right next to Vilafranca del Penedes.
After lunch, we will move on to DOQ Priorat, with a stop at a 12th-century monastery to learn about the rich history of the region, and enjoy a private wine tasting and dinner at a winery run by Christopher Cannan.
We will get to experience the beautiful wine region of DOQ Priorat, which is located about two hours southwest of Barcelona.
We will begin your day with a scenic walk through the vineyards, taking in the breathtaking views of the rolling hills covered in grapevines. After the walk, we will visit an olive oil producer to learn about the region's rich history of olive oil production and taste some of the finest olive oils in the area.
We will then enjoy a country lunch at Scaladei, where we will have the chance to taste some delicious local dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Afterwards, we will head to the beautiful town of Siurana, passing through La Morera de Montsant, a small town with houses and cobbled streets.
We will finalize the day with a wine tasting at a boutique winery, where you will get to sample some of the region's finest red wines before heading back to Barcelona.
In the evening, we will return to Barcelona for our farewell dinner.

Since you will be choosing your preferred flight times, arrival and transfers are not included. However, we can help arrange them for you. Let us or your Group Coordinator know in advance, and we will book your transfers.
Please be aware that the itinerary, activities and hotels are subject to change. These changes can happen due to unforeseen availability constraints, poor weather, seasonal changes, or other circumstances beyond our control – but we’ll always do our best to ensure it has little impact on your experience.
The rooms in our selected accommodations are double (twin) rooms. You will be sharing room with another traveler from your travel group, and always of the same sex as you. If you are traveling with someone you know and would like to stay in the same room, let us know and we will pair you together.
When booking your trip, there is usually the possibility to secure an individual private room for an additional supplement.
In the trip description you can find an indication of the hotel where we will likely be staying, but we might need to stay in a different hotel due to availability constraints - but always of similar features and quality standards. You will usually be informed of the exact confirmed hotels 1 month before your trip starts.
Of course! 2 weeks before the trip, your Group Coordinator will add you to a WhatsApp group to clarify any questions and connect you with the rest of the team. If the rest of the group is up to it, we can also facilitate a connection before that.
The Coordinator is a key figure in group travel who takes care of logistics to ensure everyone has an unforgettable journey. They manage the itinerary, propose various activity options, handle transportation bookings, and offer support in unfamiliar environments. Traveling with a coordinator provides greater freedom and an extra touch of adventure, while also ensuring safety and local expertise.
If you book a trip and it does not reach the minimum number of travelers required, you can choose to join a different trip or to get a full reimbursement. We guarantee refunds in 14 days if your trip has to be cancelled.
When booking your trip, you can choose to purchase our Flexible Cancellation Option, which allows you to cancel your trip at no cost and for any reason up to 31 days prior to your trip departure (up to 61 days if the trip is already confirmed). In that case we will reimburse 100% of the trip cost, except for the Flexible Cancellation Option fee. You can find all the details of our Cancellation Policy here.
If you would like to have even more flexibility and have full peace of mind, we also offer an insurance with cancellation coverage (you can get it when you book your trip).
The payment first payment to secure your booking is only the deposit amount indicated. The second payment is due 45 days prior to the start of the trip (we will send you a reminder). You can also pay your full balance at any time by following the payment link found in your booking confirmation email.
